Today: Wednesday is looking to be a mostly cloudy day, there may be a few peaks of sun during the day. Despite the cloud cover temperatures should be able to top out in the mid 70’s. Winds will be from the south in the morning, but become more easterly as the day wears on gusting no more than 5mph. Finally, I can’t rule out an isolated sprinkle in the evening, but for right now I am keeping the forecast dry.
Overnight: Skies should be clearing overnight and on Thursday which will allow temperatures to drop down into the lower 60’s. Winds will become more northeasterly overnight but remain calm.
Tomorrow: Thursday looks to be the best of the days this week with clear skies due to high pressure parked the the northeast of Wisconsin. Temperatures will be able to climb into the lower 70’s with winds from the northeast, but calm. Winds over the course of the day will begin to turn more to the east gusting no more than 5mph. Overnight winds should hold pretty steady as temperatures crash into the upper 50’s with mostly clear skies.
Extended: The weekend is looking to be a bit of a gloomy one. Friday will feature fairly cloudy skies throughout the day, however there may be a few peaks of sunshine in the morning. Along with the peaks of sunshine in the morning there will be little to no breeze, but by the afternoon winds will increase slightly gusting 5-10 mph from the east. Temperatures should be able to rise through the 70’s in the morning and top out around 80 degrees by afternoon despite heavy cloud cover. Milwaukee’s weather will start to shift Friday night into Saturday morning as winds switch to the south but remain calm and temperatures tumble back into the mid 60’s. With this change in our wind direction dew points values will begin to increase ahead of a cold front approaching the Milwaukee area from the north. By Saturday morning dew point values will be hovering in the low 60’s while temperatures will be able to rise through the mid 70’s and reach the upper 70’s for a daytime high. By mid morning the aforementioned cold front will start to push through the Milwaukee area and bring with it rain showers which should conclude by early afternoon. A few more showers can’t be ruled out overnight Saturday and into early Sunday morning (new precipitation should be around 0.25 to 0.30 inches). Once the cold front passes winds will turn to more of an easterly direction to start your Sunday gusting under 5 mph. Furthermore, mostly cloudy conditions will rule the day again in wake of the passing weather maker. Temperatures despite the cloudy skies should rebound into the mid 70’s for high and dew points will continue to hold in the low 60’s. By the late evening and into Sunday night winds will turn to the northeast and remain calm with lows resting in the mid 60’s. Lastly, conditions look to improve overnight Sunday into Monday morning with dew points decreasing and skies beginning to clear.
