Today: Saturday sees the continuation of slightly higher temperatures for this time of year, with a high in the mid 70s, counteracted by showers and the occasional thunderstorm throughout the day, mostly before 11 a.m. Winds will flow from the southeast at a breezy 10 mph with gusts hovering around 15 mph, but will be slightly stronger right along the lakeshore.
Tonight: Overnight temperatures drop into the low 60s but remain fairly warm, along with calm 5 mph winds that shift to the southeast around 11 p.m. A light fog will likely set in along the lakeshore after 10 p.m, but will remain light enough that visibility isn’t obscured in any meaningful way, and skies not impinged by fog will be a nice partly cloudy throughout the night.

Tomorrow: Milwaukee temperatures continue to be a little hot for September, with a high on Sunday, topping out in the mid 70s, coupled with light winds off the lake at 10 mph with gusts barely hitting 15 mph. Clear skies are expected throughout the day and into the night, but some spotty clouds could pop up right along the lakeshore especially as night begins to fall. Overnight lows reach down into the mid 60s, but remain fairly warm for this time of year.
Monday, September 15th – Wednesday, September 17th: Monday is a similar story owing to a high pressure system hovering over the Upper Peninsula and northern Michigan, with bright and sunny skies, a high in the high 70s, and close to calm winds off the lake. The stubborn high pressure system continues to remain in the area on Tuesday, keeping conditions stable and sunny with the exception of a high temperature in the low 80s and winds shifting to out of the southeast. A miniature low pressure system forms over southern Iowa on Wednesday, bringing some warm southerly winds with muggy weather caused by dewpoints in the mid 60s and temperatures in the low 80s. Skies will also continue to stay sunny, only adding to the oppressive heat during the day.
