Today: The 5-Day Weather Forecast September 14, 2025 commences with dense fog hanging over the western coast of Lake Michigan. It is anticipated that NWS will be alerting the worst affected areas, so keep on guard when traveling in the morning. Other than the crazy fog, temperatures will already be within the upper 60s, influencing a muggy feel to the air. This humidity will continue for at least another day or so before toning back to ‘fall feeling’ weather. With a high of 78, Sunday will be beautiful, sunny, with a nice cooling wind from the lake. They remain at a steady 6 mph for the majority of the day, creating pleasant weather near the lakeshore.
Tonight: Without clouds, the sun sets with a symphony of warm colors before letting us cool into the 60s. Winds calm while temperatures slip to a cooler 61 degrees. Be careful in the late-night Sunday if traveling, for the fog will return.

Tomorrow: Tomorrow Milwaukee greets the morning with fog and low clouds. Be careful on your morning commutes, especially near I-43. These clouds prolong until noon, when they should finally dissipate to reveal a blue sky. Throughout the day, winds pick up out of the southeast, bringing gustier weather. Winds should average 6 mph while gusts might hit 17 mph. Temperatures rapidly climb back through the 70s after the fog blows away, revealing a high of 79. As the sun sets, we cool with light breezes and a clear sky, sending us back to 63 for a low.
Tuesday: Much like Monday, Tuesday will see some gusty weather and mostly clear skies. Milwaukee will heat up a bit higher as fog is less expected to linger in the morning hours. Expect a high of 81 and low of 64. Towards the evening clouds will begin to gather from the southeast, foreshadowing the coming rain.
Wednesday & Thursday: Wednesday warms a bit more than Tuesday to a high of 83 due to low winds, averaging 5 mph. Gusts still plague the area, but with increasing clouds and little wind, the area stagnates. Temperatures slowly rise until a drizzle pops out of the clouds, then temperatures fall to upper 60s. Chances for rain begin in the afternoon, mainly causing some isolated rain until late evening, then taper off. This is not the case for Thursday, as the day is riddled with rain chances and higher winds. Temperatures only hit 80 and then drop to 63. Isolated thunderstorms might be possible, so stay up to date with your local forecasts!
