Today: The streak of well above average temperatures continues for UWM. High pressure continues to dominate over the Midwest, allowing us to experience another day of sunny skies and shorts weather. As the sun rises, any remnants of low laying fog clears by the morning commute with lingering fog stationed over the lake. By the first round of morning classes temperatures will already be in the upper 60s, accompanied by an easy breeze off the lake, which will last throughout the day. Sunny skies will be on tap throughout the day, though some dotted clouds may appear occasionally. Given the consistent sunshine, high temperatures look to reach 77 degrees on campus, while inland areas can expect to see highs in the 80s for the day.
Tonight: Calm winds set the stage for our evening, making a good night to soak in another summer-like night. Skies remain mostly clear through the overnight, while temperatures are expected to fall to the low 60s.
Tomorrow: Wednesday looks to be on track of being one of the warmest days of the week. Another sunny morning accompanies us with calm winds. Temperatures climb into the upper 70s as a high of 78 is expected. Some models are suggesting that temperatures could break 80 degrees, though if winds remain light, a lake breeze could form over areas touching the shore. Wednesday night looks to be a bit cloudier, with partly cloudy skies expected into the overnight. Low temperatures look to fall around 60.

Extended: Thursday is looking to tie Wednesday’s high temperatures at an expected 78 degrees, though cloud cover is a weakness to reach that high. We could see a bit more clouds on Thursday due to low pressure building into the area, which would put a damper on the high temperature potential for the day. Clouds grow into the evening and overnight as temperatures fall to 63 degrees. A low-pressure system greets us as we inch towards the weekend. Our next chance of rain looks to be Friday evening into early Saturday morning. Temperatures for the weekend will fall to the lower 70s, with less sunshine than we’ve seen in the early week.
