
Today: A prominent high pressure system will be moving out of the area on Thursday, but the area will still experience very high pressure, causing clear skies throughout the day. Temperatures will peak in the low 60s coupled with winds flowing from the southeast at 5-10 mph and gusts reaching 15 mph, causing the season to finally feel like fall.
Tonight: Weak low pressure starts to move its way over the Canadian border to northern Wisconsin, finally strengthening into a full system by daybreak on Friday. This causes some clouds to form overnight and sparse rain to occur very late around 4 a.m. Temperatures to fall into the mid 40s overnight, and winds continue to flow out of the south at 5 mph with gusts at 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Clouds persist during Friday morning into the afternoon, with a small chance for rain throughout the morning, mostly before 1 a.m. Temperatures start to get colder during today after a cold front moves through, hampering the high to a meager 58 degrees and winds pick up again during the afternoon, speeding up to 10 mph with 25 mph gusts. Friday night sees a high pressure system move into the area, bringing much colder air into the area and causing temperatures to fall into the mid 40s with low 40s inland.
Saturday, October 11th – Monday, October 13th: Weak high pressure continues to linger in the area on Saturday, holding partly cloudy skies in place and dampening the high to a meager 58 degrees. Clouds clear out for a little bit overnight but quickly come back on Sunday morning, sticking around throughout the day and into the night. Temperatures heat up slightly in comparison to the week, to a high of 61 degrees before falling to a low of 55 degrees in the afternoon. Monday heats back up to 70 degrees and mostly sunny during the day, perfect weather for celebrating Indigenous Peoples Day outdoors.
