Today: The 5-Day Weather Forecast October 26, 2025 begins with the sunrise welcoming us to a mid-40s morning. As the sun follows its course through the sky, temperatures rise and plateau at a relatively cool 55. Constant winds off the 55-degree lake, around 8 mph with gusts of 23 mph, prevent the temperature from breaking past 55. Once the scattered clouds of the day dissipate, they let in the beauty of the 5:50 p.m. sunset.
Tonight: Without clouds reflecting any of the day’s heat, we drop to 49 by 9 p.m. and hit a low of 44 by tomorrow morning. A high-pressure system to our east stagnates for most of the week, keeping most of the wind off the lake. Due to Lake Michigan’s temperature, eastern Milwaukee County will be warmer during the night than its western counterpart.
Tomorrow: Winds increase a small bit tomorrow to 9 mph with gusts of 24 mph. Additionally, clouds return to block the warm sun, so our high temperature falls to 51. Overcast skies go from grey to black with the onset of night. After many hours of darkness, temperatures only take a leisurely dip to 46 for a low.

Tuesday: Although winds begin to ease into Tuesday, precipitation chances climb. While the clouds obscure the sun’s ascent, a rain system enters western Wisconsin. Combating this is the softer winds from the east, allowing only occasional drizzles into the Milwaukee area. This system presents some issues with forecasting; it rides between two high pressures forcing together warmer and colder air masses. Owing to stronger forces in the north, the colder air mass shifts the rain southward, away from Milwaukee. Clouds should let up a little during the night as we hit a low of 47.
Extended: Looking to Wednesday and Thursday, highs continue to hit the low 50s and skies brighten with a clear-skied Thursday. Contrasting the steady highs, lows drop into the high 30s Thursday night. Winds increase considerably Wednesday as pressures from the north to south squeeze closer together, meaning stronger gusts of 26 mph. These calm into Thursday, but as winds turn to go south with the geese, winds will remain around 8 mph with gusts of 23 mph. Stay tuned for Friday’s holiday forecast!
