Today: A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Milwaukee, and expect to find two to five inches of snow coating the city this Monday morning. Accompanying the blanket of fresh snow will be crisp a crisp morning low of 28 degrees. Thankfully, there should not be the formation of anymore snow throughout the day due to the warm breeze off the lake. The skies will be mostly clear, and the afternoon sun should bring the daily high up to the mid 30’s.
Tonight: Radars are supplying differing information as to what the night entails, with the worst case scenario supplying snow and thunder storms to the area. However, the lakebed provides a warm breeze which creates the potential for a quiet cool night to ensue. Despite these discrepancies, the evening low will be 30 degrees and the skies will be partly cloudy (providing there is no storm).
Tomorrow: Tuesday morning will look very similar, with a morning high of 30 degrees and the potential for a fresh layer of snow on the ground. The afternoon will be considerably warmer in temperature, getting as hot as 38 degrees near the bay and even nearing the lower 40’s further inland. The skies will be cloudy all day, with a small break in mid to late afternoon. As evening draws near, the temperature will fall back into the low 30’s.
Extended: The low on Wednesday is 31 degrees, with a high of 42 degrees and partly cloudy skies. These temperatures will gradually get warmer as the week continues, giving a welcome break to the previous cold snap. Therefore, expect Thursday’s low to be 35 degrees with a high of 44 degrees, and Friday to be similar with a low of 38 degrees and a high of 49 degrees.
