Today: High pressure located around southern Illinois drives our temperatures upwards today, bringing our high into the low 50s around noon, coupled with mostly sunny skies throughout the day and into the early evening hours. Winds will be fairly calm, topping out just over 5 mph with gusts barely reaching 10 mph.

Tonight: Clouds move in early in the night but don’t stick around for very long, breaking up around midnight. Temperatures fall to an overnight low in the mid 30s at their coldest, creating a few pockets of frost inland. Winds remain calm, with the occasional gusts topping out at 5 mph out of the south. 

Tomorrow: Southerly air brings much warmer temperatures in the mid 50s on Friday, buoyed by mostly sunny skies during the day. Winds are light, topping out at 5 mph with gusts reaching 10 mph at their strongest. Nightfall brings some clouds and the occasional light rain shower to the area, along with warm temperatures on the backside of a warm front that moves through the area, creating an overnight low of just 50 degrees.

Saturday, November 15th – Monday, November 17th: A cold front makes its way into our area on Saturday afternoon, but not before giving us a high in the low 50s during the morning. Winds pick up considerably once the front moves through, with an average speed of 10 mph and gusts hitting just below 25 mph. Sunday is much colder than the days prior, hitting a high in the low 40s along with clear skies and high winds averaging 20 mph. Monday’s conditions are similar to Sunday’s, with a high barely reaching the low 40s and clear skies.
