
Today: The morning begins milder today, with temperatures in the upper 20’s to start our day. Breezy winds with a high of 30 degrees is expected before temperatures drop for the day. A cold front is expected to push through the area by midday, bringing the chance of light snow showers ahead of the front. Expect snowy conditions beginning as early as 9 a.m. and lingering until around 1 p.m., where around half an inch is expected. Once the snow and front crosses Milwaukee, cold air will follow as winds shift northwesterly.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies remain for our evening and overnight as high pressure begins nudging into our area. As this system moves in, temperatures will drop significantly tonight reaching lows near 7 degrees. Cold, breezier winds look to stay on course, causing feels like temperatures well below zero degrees.
Tomorrow: Sunny skies dominate the day as high pressure takes full swing in Milwaukee. Arctic air continues filtering in through Thursday, with high temperatures in the teens expected. The wind flow eventually shifts southwest during the day on Thursday, bringing slightly warmer air into our region. By Thursday evening cloud development is likely with the warmer air overhead moving in. Low temperatures fall to the single digits again, around 5 degrees.
Extended: An active weather pattern looks to compose our weekend with snow chances likely Friday through Sunday. On Friday, temperatures bounce back to the 20s with partly sunny skies expected. Chances for snow appears to be in the late afternoon and evening with low temperatures falling to 16 degrees. Much of Saturday will be a calm winter day, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 26. Chances for snow look to be towards the late evening and overnight as temperatures fall to 14 degrees. Our highest chance for snow appears to be Sunday, with another upper air disturbance bringing a pocket of precipitation. Temperatures remain fairly steady, with highs in the mid 20s and lows near 13.
