Today: A cold snap hits Milwaukee overnight, resulting in morning temperatures just above zero near the coast line, even dropping below zero further inland. Despite this, the skies will be mostly clear and sunny with no precipitation expected as a high pressure front moves over the city. As noon nears, the temperature will warm to the day’s high of 14 degrees.
Tonight: As night falls the temperature will drop back down to 5 degrees, and will remain below 10 degrees for the night. The skies will grow cloudy, and the winds will remain mild.
Tomorrow: By Friday temperatures will have returned to normal, with a much more mild morning temp of 16 degrees. The skies will be cloudy all day as a low pressure front begins to take hold, and the afternoon will bring temperatures in the upper 20’s. The night will look similar, with temperatures in the upper teens and cloudy skies.
Extended: A low pressure front headed in on Saturday will bring light flurries to the area. It is a little far out to predict exactly when, but forecast models are trending toward the early morning and tapering out in the afternoon. The high for Saturday is 26 and the low is 16 degrees. Sunday will be very similar albeit without the snow. The high is going to be in the upper 20’s, and the low for the day will be 21. On Monday the skies will be partly cloudy, and the high will be 26 with a low of 17 degrees.
