Today: Cloudy, wintery skies are expected for Friday, with clouds hovering overhead with the occasional spot of blue skies, mostly in the morning. Temperatures begin very cold in the low teens before warming up to a daily high around the mid 20s, coupled with biting southwest winds out of the southwest at an average wind speed at 10 mph and gusts reaching to 20 mph. 

Tonight: A chance for freezing rain and snow is expected early Friday night, making for some difficult driving conditions after 8 P.M. Temperatures actually increase as a warm front moves through the area hitting a high in the low 30s, before tanking after 3 A.M. to a low in the mid teens. Winds shift out of the west, but maintain their speed of 10 mph with gusts of 20 mph.

Tomorrow: Cold temperatures linger around throughout Saturday, never quite breaking above the mid 20s. Skies switch to partly sunny, but move back in as night falls due to a low pressure system moving into the upper Midwest, along with subdued winds around 5 mph and gusts that reach 15 mph in their strongest. Snow could fall around 3 A.M., but accumulation will be kept under an inch.

Sunday, December 7th – Tuesday, December 9th: Clouds blanket the skies on Sunday, along with light snowfall accumulating to under an inch in the morning before turning to partly sunny skies for the rest of the day. Temperatures stay very cold, with a daily high in the low 20s and winds out of the north at 10 mph. Monday’s skies return to overcast with a minor chance of flurries in the morning. Temperatures return to a high in the upper teens after a bitterly cold morning hovering around 0 degrees. Snow is expected on Monday night into Tuesday morning, with total snow accumulation around 2 and a half inches. Tuesday remains cloudy, but warms up into the low 30s for a majority of the day before a warm front moves through overnight.
