Today: Patchy fog driven by melting snow is expected throughout Milwaukee today, especially right along the lakeshore. Temperatures are much higher than expected, maxing out around the low 40s coupled with dense cloud cover throughout the day and into the night. Winds slow down considerably, first blowing at a modest 15 mph with gusts hitting 20 mph to a calmer 5 mph, with gusts maxing out around 15 mph.

Tonight: Winds fully shift, reaching a calm 5 mph as a minor surface high pressure system moves through the area. Temperatures stay fairly warm, hovering around the high 30s during the night, coupled with dense fog that gets much worse inland. Clouds continue to blanket the sky, keeping temperatures warm and moist. 

Tomorrow: Omnipresent clouds continue to cover the Milwaukee sky, and patchy fog continues to be a nuisance all day. Temperatures max out around the mid 40s, coupled with winds out of the south at 10 mph with gusts around 20 mph. Patchy rain is expected around 9 P.M., but will pick up considerably as the night goes on and will carry over into Sunday. 

Sunday, December 28th – Tuesday, December 30th: Pervasive rain is expected for Sunday, beginning in patches around Milwaukee before switching to widespread showers throughout the day. Temperatures max out in the mid 40s, coupled with gusty winds that will hit 25 mph at times. The rain turns to snow as Sunday night falls, and carries over into Monday morning, with snow totals reaching around 2 inches. Monday morning continues to have some snowfall, before gusty conditions take over around noon. Temperatures max out around 25 degrees, and skies turn to mostly sunny conditions in the afternoon. Tuesday remains similar to Monday afternoon, with sunny skies and cold temperatures in the mid 20s.
