Today: Monday night’s freezing rain will be wrapping up in the earlier hours of this morning. The morning low will be just a hair warmer then freezing, at 34 degrees. As the afternoon arrives the showers will become much more scattered, only affecting 10% of the area. The temperatures will reach the upper 30’s bringing the day’s high of 37 degrees. The rains will fully disperse as the afternoon dwindles, and winds will be pretty average throughout the day despite the lingering precipitation.
Tonight: A high pressure front will set in this evening, leaving calm and cool weather over the area and a temperature average of 35 degrees. Skies will be cloudy all day.
Tomorrow: The high pressure system will give way to sunny skies in the morning on Wednesday. Although the morning low will be slightly cooler than yesterday’s at 31 degrees, it will overall be much warmer with a daily high in the lower 40’s. Clouds will develop a little more as the afternoon turns to evening, but otherwise it will be mostly clear all day.
Extended: A low pressure system moves into the Milwaukee area over Wednesday night. This means rain for the city, although there are discrepancies between radars as far as when exactly it will hit. Regardless, the low for Thursday will be in the upper 30’s, with a high of 43 degrees. There will be a small break in precipitation Thursday night, but it will be back by Friday. Again, radars are not consistent as far as when, but expect it to affect roughly 40% of the area. The high for Friday is 39 degrees, with a low of 35. Saturday looks similar, although the precipitation chances increase to 80%. The high for the day is 29 degrees, with a low of 26.
