
Today: Rain continues to fall early Friday morning, before turning to mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon. Temperatures fall quickly as a cold front moves through the area around 5 A.M., bringing much cooler temperatures in the upper 30s. Winds will be very strong in the morning, with an average wind speed of 15 mph and gusts maxing out at 35 mph along the lakeshore. Winds die down along with the temperatures in the afternoon as a strong low pressure system moves out of the area, dropping to an average speed of 10 mph with gusts maxing out around 20 mph.
Tonight: Temperatures drop again as night falls, bottoming out at 32 degrees overnight coupled with light winds out of the south east at 5 mph and gusts of 10 mph. Clouds continue to cover the skies, and a few dots of sleet and rain popping up late Friday night, but will mainly be relegated to a few patches inland.

Tomorrow: After some light rain early, Saturday’s precipitation turns into wet snow that continues throughout the day and into the night, totaling around 2 inches. Temperatures hover around freezing for most of the day before plummeting into the low 20s as night falls, coupled with stronger winds around 15 mph and gusts of 25 mph.
Sunday, January 11th – Tuesday, January 13th: Sunday temperatures fall considerably, landing in the low 20s during the day and rising into the mid 20s during the night. Skies will be cloudy in the morning before becoming bright and clear in the afternoon into the evening, where some minor snow showers will return. Monday sees a return to relatively warmer temperatures in the mid 30s and will begin clear before turning to overcast for the remainder of the day. Rain returns on Tuesday on the back of a low pressure system, along with warmer temperatures hovering in the mid 30s before dropping into the upper 20s as night falls.
