Winds will be fairly average, although gusts throughout the morning and evening could get as strong as 18 miles an hour. The afternoon will bring significantly warmer temperatures in the upper teens. The skies throughout the morning and afternoon will be primarily clear.
Tonight: A fast-moving, low pressure system will hit Milwaukee by the evening. With it, expect cold, powdery snow after 8pm. The temperatures will be in the mid-teens, averaging 16 degrees. Winds will be fairly mild considering the precipitation.
Tomorrow: Tuesday’s snow will continue overnight into Wednesday morning, and should taper off fully by 10am. The afternoon will be partly cloudy, with mild winds and a high of 25 degrees. Another chance for snow sets in with the evening, dropping the temperature to 21 degrees. The snow will be much less intense than the morning’s and should end by midnight with the exception of a few lingering flurries in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Extended: Thursday has the potential for some light snow in the early morning, although it will likely remain north of Milwaukee. The skies will be partly cloudy, with a high of 15 and a low of 7 degrees. Friday a cold snap arrives, bringing ridiculously cold temperatures to the area. The high for the day will be -2, with a low of -8 degrees. Skies will be partly cloudy Friday into Saturday. The high for Saturday will be 8 degrees with a low of -7 as the cold snap ends.
