Today: The trend of warm weather continues into Monday morning, with temperatures hanging around the low 40’s. The weather will be slightly breezy, with winds averaging 13 miles per hour and the occasional 25 mile per hour gust. The afternoon will bring slightly clearer skies and a daily high of 54 degrees.
Tonight: Winds will almost completely tail off, with speeds averaging a mere 3 miles an hour. Skies will be partly cloudy and the air will be warm, with a nighttime low of 43 degrees.
Tomorrow: A low level trough will bring slightly colder air over the city, explaining the morning low of 35 degrees. The temperature will stick within the 30’s as the day progresses and the skies will be mostly cloudy all day. Wind speeds will be pretty mild throughout the day, and no rain will occur.
Extended: A bout of rain impacts all of southern Wisconsin on Wednesday, and Milwaukee is no exception. Fortunately, the low pressure system means slightly warmer temperatures providing a high of 50 degrees and a low of 48. The rain appears to trend north of the city by late afternoon. Ideally it will taper off by dinner time, however it is a bit far out for models to be precise. Thursday the clouds will part to make way for a bright and sunny day. The high will be 48 degrees, with an evening low of 35 degrees. Friday another storm will affect the area, although it is too far out to accurately say when. That said, most models support the idea of a large, intense storm forming mid-morning and tapering off into a milder afternoon, with the potential for a smaller, drizzly bout of rain to hit again in the late evening. Otherwise, expect a low of 34 degrees and a high of 47 degrees.
