Today: After a very chilly morning, Wednesday warms up into the mid 20s coupled by midday. Partly sunny skies are in store for the majority of the day, owing to a small high pressure system over southwest Wisconsin. Winds will blow out of the west at a moderate 12 mph, with 20 mph gusts occurring with faster winds closer to the lake.

Tonight: Clouds move in as night falls, blanketing the sky for a majority of the night. Temperatures fall into the mid teens quickly, and continue to stay that way through the night and into Thursday. Winds slow down to 10 mph with 15 mph gusts at times, which die down even more as the night goes on. 

Tomorrow: Thursday warms up into the upper 30s early, marking a shift in the weather for a short time. Southerly winds blow at 10 mph with 20 mph gusts expected, especially along the lake. Skies will be mostly sunny, before turning to clear as Thursday night looms. Temperatures bottom out in the lower 20s, along with slower winds out of the south at 5 mph.

Friday, February 27th – Sunday, March 1st: Friday’s temperatures skyrocket into the lower 50s during the day, boosted by clear skies and warm winds at 15 mph. Saturday is a much different story however, as temperatures plummet into the lower 30s with a 40% chance for snow. Skies will be predominantly overcast, with a wind speed of 12 mph. Sunday winds slow down slightly, to a speed of 5 mph off the lake. Temperatures will be fairly cold, hitting a high in the lower 20s, coupled with a chance for lake effect snow throughout the day.
