
Today: After a chilly morning below freezing, Friday’s temperatures skyrocket into the upper 50s during the day. Winds will be out of the southwest at an average speed of 15 mph with 25 mph gusts, especially during the afternoon. Skies will be partly sunny, with a few clouds popping up during the middle of the day.
Tonight: Friday night cools down into the lower 30s, with temperatures reaching into the upper 20s inland. Winds continue to blow heavily, with an average wind speed around 20 mph with over 30 mph gusts. Skies remain fairly clear overnight, with only a few clouds popping up around midnight.
Tomorrow: Saturday is a much different story however, as temperatures plummet into the upper 20s with a 60% chance for snow, totaling around 3 inches in areas with heavier snow along the lake. Skies will be predominantly overcast, with a wind speed of 12 mph. Temperatures drop into the lower 20s overnight, coupled with mostly cloudy skies and winds at 10 mph.
Sunday, March 1st – Tuesday, March 3rd: Sunday winds slow down slightly, to a speed of 5 mph off the lake. Temperatures will be fairly cold, hitting a high in the lower 20s, coupled with a chance for lake effect snow throughout the day. Monday warms up slightly, with temperatures maxing out in the lower 30s. Skies will be mostly sunny, along with winds out of the south at 10 mph. Tuesday hovers in the mid 30s with mixed precipitation likely throughout the day. Winds will blow off the lake at 5 mph.
