Overview: Milwaukee’s 5-Day Weather Forecast April 7, 2026, discovers some warmth mid-week before an active weather pattern sets up for the latter half.

Today: Commuters and early risers wake up to high-20s temperatures, slow winds and a beautiful and blinding sunrise. Temperatures reach 37 by 5 p.m. due to an ever-present sun with low winds of 7 mph. While slow, northeastern winds could gust up to 16 mph in the morning. These winds spin to come from the south by nightfall at 7:23 p.m.

Tonight: As winds strengthen slowly, clouds return. Temperatures briefly bottom out at 31 before rising the rest of the night due to the southern winds. In the pre-dawn hours of Wednesday, a short bout of cold rain travels through Milwaukee before breaking the clouds.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies yield a high temperature in the 60s but rain lurks at the night. If enough clouds keep away from Milwaukee though, temperatures might reach 65. On Wednesday, a low-pressure system enters the picture, inducing higher winds with clouds and precipitation later in the day. Winds howl up along I-94 into Milwaukee at 14 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Around 6 p.m., a line of storms swings in from the northwest and lasts until early Thursday. This brings occasional thunders and heavy rains, accumulating to a quarter inch. All the while, temperatures cool sharply to the low 40s.

Thursday: As rains clear out, winds calm to an average 9 mph with the odd gust up to 27 mph. Otherwise, temperatures rise above historical averages into the mid-50s. Partly cloudy skies aid the warmth of the day, but winds take over from the northwest. This results in cooler temperatures in the night, nearing 36.

Extended: In the early morning Friday, some heavy rain overshadows Milwaukee until the late morning. As a high-pressure system positions itself over the western Midwest, fair weather returns to us for the rest of the week. Friday’s temperatures grapple with 6-mph northwestern winds and exiting clouds, ultimately reaching the upper-40s for a high. In the night, temperatures fall to 35 before returning to the 50s Saturday. No rain presents itself to Southeastern Wisconsin Friday, but it returns Saturday night, so keep up to date with the forecasts!
