Overview: Warm weather makes it’s way to Milwaukee, hitting highs in the 60s for most of the weekend. Rain will hamper the mostly nice weather though, with over an inch falling over the course of the 5 day forecast.

Today: Thursday begins rather cool before warming up into the lower 60s, driven by warm south-westerly winds at 10 mph with 20 mph gusts. Skies start off clear, but clouds move in around 2 p.m. There’s a 70% chance for rain after 6 p.m. that continues into the night.

Tonight: Rain continues to fall throughout the night, dropping over ¾ of an inch in areas. Temperatures quickly drop into the lower 40s in the early evening, coupled with winds off the lake at 5 mph with 15 mph gusts.

Tomorrow: A high pressure system moves into northern Wisconsin on Friday, bringing with it mostly sunny skies and lower temperatures in the upper 40s. Winds shift to blow out of the north at 8 mph with 16 mph gusts at times. Temperatures fall back down into the lower 30s, along with calm winds and clear skies. 

Extended: Temperatures warm back up on Saturday, hitting a high in the lower 50s with cloudy skies overhead. Winds will be moderate, blowing out of the south at 10 mph with 18 mph gusts. Rain moves into the area around 6 p.m., dropping a quarter inch of rain. Drizzle persists on Sunday, continuing to fall throughout the day. Temperatures warm up into the upper 60s, along with strong winds out of the southwest at 20 mph. Monday morning has a 80% chance for precipitation during the day, coupled with temperatures that top out in the high 60s. Winds will continue to be quick, blowing out of the north at 20 mph.
