Overview: A heatwave is in store during the weekend, hitting highs in the 60s and finishing in the 70s. Rain hampers what would otherwise be nice weather though, with precipitation occurring the next 5 days.

Today: A high pressure system moves into northern Wisconsin on Friday, bringing with it mostly sunny skies and lower temperatures in the upper 40s. Winds shift to blow out of the north at 8 mph with 16 mph gusts at times, along with a 20% chance for drizzle around 3 p.m.

Tonight: Temperatures fall back down into the lower 30s during Friday night, along with clear skies. Winds blow out of the south at 2 mph and gusts at 5 mph that slow down to calm as the night goes on.

Tomorrow: Temperatures warm back up on Saturday, hitting a high in the lower 50s with cloudy skies overhead. Winds will be moderate, blowing out of the south at 10 mph with 18 mph gusts. Rain moves into the area around 6 p.m., dropping a quarter inch of rain. Rain continues through the night, while temperatures warm up into the upper 50s.

 Extended: Rain persists on Sunday, continuing to fall until the evening. Temperatures warm up into the lower 70s, along with strong winds out of the southwest at 20 mph. Monday warms up into the lower 70s, along with rain that returns in the evening. Winds will blow out of the west at 10 mph for most of the day. Rain continues to fall on Tuesday, with a thunderstorm or two popping up around 3 p.m.. Temperatures rise into the lower 70s, with winds out of the west at 15 mph.
