Overview: After beginning off cool, the rest of the week warms up considerably, hitting highs in the lower 70s at times. Rain also moves through the area, with a chance for thunderstorms on multiple days.
Today: Saturday looks to be the last of the cooler weather for a while. A high pressure system that has hovered over Wisconsin the past couple of days will keep making its way eastward, allowing for a new weather system to arrive during the night. Sunny skies will start out Saturday as temperatures will rise through the high 40s with southeast winds sustained between 8 mph. By the afternoon, clouds will be on the increase as temperatures look to reach the upper 40s for a day time high. Winds will increase slightly in the afternoon to around 10 mph, but remaining from the southeast. There is a 30% chance of an isolated shower by the late afternoon over Milwaukee, but most of the area will stay dry.
Overnight: Overnight showers are expected as a warm front moves through the area warm front continues to lift northward. Temperatures will stay mild, only making it down into the low 40s as winds will switch to the south and increase to 12 mph sustained. New rainfall amounts look to be between a tenth to quarter of an inch across the area.
Tomorrow: Warm weather and unsettled conditions arrive Sunday. Overnight showers will continue through the morning with mostly cloudy conditions overhead. Winds turn to the southwest with speeds around 12 mph in the morning, but increase to 18 mph by the afternoon. Furthermore, temperatures will rocket in the low 70s for an afternoon high with clouds breaking slightly which will allow for brief reprieve from rain showers. After 1 p.m., a stalled out cold front parked in northwestern Wisconsin will act as a catalyst to bring another round of showers and isolated thunderstorms through the Milwaukee area. New rainfall amounts from this system will be between a quarter to half an inch as all showers and isolated storms come to an end by 7 p.m. Overnight winds slowly start to ease under overcast conditions. Finally, temperatures will only make into the upper 50s for an overnight low due to southwest winds.

Extended: An unsettled weather pattern will be around to start the upcoming week. High temperatures Monday through Wednesday will mainly stay around the low 70s and mild lows in the mid to low 50s. Monday will stay mostly dry, until a stalled cold front moves a little more southwestward and sparks a line of strong to severe thunderstorms in the evening. Tuesday will feature an even greater risk of severe thunderstorms in the evening which is why The Storm Prediction Center has issued a general area risk of severe weather for the Milwaukee area. This all made possible by the stalled cold front that will finally move through the area overnight Tuesday. All modes of severe weather will be in play and a more concrete risk will be issued as Tuesday gets closer. Wednesday will be a calmer day weather wise with winds turning to the west-northwest sustained around 8 mph under partly sunny skies. A weaker secondary cold front will move through by the evening that may bring additional rain chances.
