Overview: Due to high pressure moving into the area, clear skies and cold temperatures are expected during the weekend. Friday night will have some heavy rain and a chance for flooding, so make sure you’re prepared.

Today: After a very foggy morning, skies turn to partly cloudy on Friday with temperatures in the lower 70s. Winds will blow out of the south at 15 mph with 22 mph gusts at times, with winds increasing in the evening. Thunderstorms are expected to begin around 4, but the worst of the rain will occur during the night.

Tonight:  Friday night sees more thunderstorms move into the area, dropping close to three quarters of an inch in areas. Flooding and hail are expected, so stay aware of any warnings in your area and be prepared. Temperatures drop into the low 40s as a cold front moves into the area, coupled with winds out of the west at 15 mph with 30 mph gusts.

Tomorrow: Saturday’s skies change to mostly sunny, with a high in the mid 30s. Winds will pick up considerably, blowing out of the west at 15 mph with 28 mph gusts. Clouds fully clear out on Saturday night, causing temperatures to drop into the upper 20s. Winds will slow down slightly, blowing out of the west at 10 mph with 15 mph gusts. 

Extended: Sunday continues the trend of cooler weather, with temperatures hitting the mid 40s. Skies will be mostly sunny, with winds out of the north at 15 mph. Sunday night sees the occasional shower move through the area, but precipitation totals will be kept under half an inch. Monday warms back up into the lower 50s, with sunny skies and winds out of the south at 8 mph. Tuesday sees the occasional shower pop up throughout the day, with temperatures rising back up into the 70s and winds out of the south at 12 mph.
