Overview: Small bouts of rain spur the start of this week, with high pressure returning on Wednesday.

Today: Finally, warm temperatures greet Milwaukee with a morning low of 50 degrees and partly cloudy skies. Winds will be crisp, bringing the “feels like” temperature down by a few degrees. As the afternoon begins, clouds will begin to accumulate. The temperature will warm to the day’s high of 62, although once again, it will be slightly chillier due to the 20-mph gusts affecting the area.

Tonight: Winds will die down significantly in the evening, and a small bout of rain is welcomed into the area. It is only expected to affect roughly 20% of the area, such that temperatures remain fairly warm in the upper 50s.

Tomorrow: Monday night’s rain will not stop there, affecting Tuesday morning up until the afternoon. With temperatures sitting in the upper 40s, it will still be fairly warm and precipitation amounts will be minimal. Despite the dreary morning, the rest of the day will be your average spring afternoon. Expect cloudy skies and a daily high of 55 degrees. As night returns, it will drop back to the lower 50s and upper 40s.

Extended: Wednesday will be partly cloudy and stable as high pressure returns to the area. Expect a high of 51 degrees and a low of 44. Thursday will trend even warmer, with a high of 59 and a low of 52 degrees. Skies will also be partly cloudy on this day. On Friday, expect more of the same, with the exception of some potential precipitation in the evening. Temperatures for this day will be in the lower 50s, with a high of 52 and a low of 50.
