Overview: Milwaukee sees average temperatures on Saturday and Sunday turn tropic this week with highs in the 90s, dew points in the low-70s, and occassional thunderstorm chances.

Today: Saturday will be another picture-perfect summer day across the Milwaukee area thanks to the weak high-pressure system to the north. Temperatures will rise through the 60s in the morning under brilliant sunshine with northeast winds northeast around 8 mph. Sunny skies continue through the afternoon which will help temperatures reach the low 70s for a high with winds turning to the east. The high-pressure system will start to move further off to the east by Saturday evening which will make way for the next weather maker to arrive by Monday morning.

Overnight: Before the next weather maker arrives, Saturday night will feature clear skies, allowing temperatures to cool into the high 50s with winds light and variable.

Tomorrow: Sunday will be a transitional day of weather across the Milwaukee area. Temperatures will rise through the 60s Monday morning under partly sunny skies. Winds turn to the southeast around 8 mph and usher in sticky dew points in the low 60s. Skies will become overcast in the afternoon which will halt temperatures in the mid-70s for a high and dew points will increase into the mid-60s with winds increasing to around 12 mph. With muggy dew points and hot temperatures, a 20% chance of isolated thunderstorms will generate during the late afternoon, however, these may not develop. Winds will ease overnight to around 10 mph and shift to the south. Temperatures won’t be able to cool much, only making in down into the upper 60 under clearing skies.

Monday: The extended forecast will be hot with tropical dew points and returning storm chances. On Monday though, the heat is on. A warm front will swing through Wisconsin in the morning. High temperatures will top out in the low 90s accompanied by dew points in the mid-70s. Gusty south winds will be around 14 mph under partly sunny skies. Most of the day will remain dry, but a 10% isolated shower or thunderstorm chance can’t be ruled out because of the daytime heat and humidity. A heat advisory may be needed Monday through Wednesday because feel-like temperatures could approach 105. If outside, make sure to stay hydrated, take plenty of breaks in the shade, and seek air conditioning when you can. Winds will shift to the southwest overnight with speeds staying consistent. Temperatures will only make it down into the mid-70s for a low with skies clearing.

Extended: Tuesday will be more of the same: high temperatures in the mid-90s and dew points in the tropical mid-70s. Southwest winds will continue around 14 mph under partly sunny skies. A 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms will exist in the evening and early overnight hours. However, it is unclear how much rain and if any thunderstorms will be severe. Winds will ease to around 10 mph overnight, and temperatures will remain elevated in the mid-70s for a low under partly cloudy skies. Wednesday will be yet another hot and humid day with high temperatures in the mid-90s with dew points in the mid-70s. Breezy southwest winds will be blowing in around 14 mph under plentiful sunshine. Winds will calm overnight to around 6 mph with temperatures being held in the mid-70s for a low under clear skies.
