Overview: An unsettled Friday will lead to a calmer weekend with temperatures in the low-70s. Monday will remain calm, but Tuesday temperatures and dewpoints begin to rebound with more rain chances.
Today: Friday will be an overcast and rainy day across the Milwaukee area. The morning will start with 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms from a decaying line out west. This will keep skies overcast as temperatures rise into the lower 70s. Winds will be out of the southwest around 8 mph which will begin to blow in sticky dewpoints throughout the morning. A break in the rain will arrive by the afternoon and leave skies overcast. Temperatures will hit the upper 70s for a high with sticky dewpoints in the mid-60s. Winds will increase to around 10 mph. Another chance of storms will arrive in the evening thanks to a cold front from the northwest.

Overnight: Some of these storms could be strong with heavy rain, gusty winds, and some small hail. Because of this, the Storm Prediction Center has issued a Level 1 out of 5 risk of severe weather for all of Eastern Wisconsin. All storm activity should be done by 11 p.m. with the Milwaukee area picking up a quarter to a half inch of new rainfall. Skies will clear out after midnight as temperatures cool into the mid-60s for a low. Winds turn to the northwest around 8 mph which will usher in some cooler, drier air.
Tomorrow: Saturday will bring sunny skies and drier weather. Temperatures will rise into the low-70s by the late morning with winds remaining out of the northwest around 10 mph under brilliant sunshine. By the afternoon, high temperatures top out in the upper 70s with the same breezy wind and brilliantly blue sky. In the evening, a 10% chance of a stray sprinkle from the daytime heating will exit, but most will stay dry. Otherwise, temperatures will fall to around 60 for a overnight low under mostly clear skies. Furthermore, winds will turn to the north around 6 mph because of secondary cold front that will swing through overnight.
Sunday: Calmer weather will be in store over the extended forecast. Sunday will be a transitional day of weather. A departing cold front moves farther off to the east and a high pressure from the northwest will make its way towards Wisconsin. Skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the day with high temperatures topping out in the low 70s. Winds will be out of the north around 8-10 mph before turning light and variable overnight. Skies will remain overcast overnight with temperatures cooling into the upper 50s.
Extended: On Monday, sunny skies return as the high-pressure system sits over Wisconsin. High temperatures top out in the low-70s again with winds turning to the east around 8 mph. Overnight, temperatures dip into the low-60s, as winds turn to the southwest around 6 mph ahead of the next weather-maker Tuesday night. Tuesday temperatures and dewpoints begin to rebound with highs reaching the upper 70s and dewpoints rising back into the sticky mid-60s. Winds will be out of the southwest around 14 mph with a mix of sun and clouds. Overnight, another cold front will slide through Southeastern Wisconsin which will produce a 60% chance of showers and embedded thunderstorms. It is too early to tell if any storm will be severe and how much rainfall the area could pick up. Other weather conditions Tuesday night will feature temperatures in the mid-60s with southwest winds around 10 mph and skies clearing into Wednesday morning.
