The UWM Post’s Multimedia Editor Charlie Skrade, along with Gabe Leistekow (director of photography, colorist, and assistant editor), Enzo Aiello (B-camera operator, soundist), and Ben Leistekow (composer), interviewed local residents of the town of Port Washington about their experience with living next to Vantage’s AI Data Center that has been being built for the past 10 months since its groundbreaking on December 17, 2025.
“Until we get a government that actually cares about the citizens and the people that live here,” Amanda Mueller, resident of Port Washington, said, “it’s going to take every one of us to take care of ourselves.”
