Sightings of a mysterious creature along the banks of the Milwaukee River have left locals wanting answers.

Over the past few weeks, the UWM Post has been receiving reports of sightings of an elusive animal unlike any other from members of the local community.

The cryptic animal has been described as fast-moving and has so far managed to evade capture on film. It has purportedly been seen as far north as Hubbard Park and as far south as Père Marquette Park.

Based on eyewitness accounts, the small animal appears to share characteristics of a beaver and a deer and has been seen swimming in the river and eating wood along the banks.

Some who claim to have seen it have illustrated what they believe the beast to look like.
