Tyler, The Creator gave the Bucks a shoutout as he took the Fiserv Forum stage Thursday for his “Call Me If You Get Lost” tour.

The tour is named after Tyler’s recent album by the same name, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The 2019 Best Rap Album Winner is nominated for Best Rap Album and Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 2022 Grammys.

Tyler mentioned the Milwaukee Bucks during his spoken introduction. Fans exclaimed positively, given that the performance was taking place in the NBA 2021 Winners’ home arena.

“Milwaukee, who are the champions?” Tyler asked. “It’s the Bucks, right? I honestly just found that out I don’t follow basketball, but congrats, guys!”

Pink fireworks burst from the top of the stage as the rapper emerged and the set began.

Fans dressed in clothing reminiscent of the rapper’s diverse album-eras flooded the arena. The evening began with a performance by Teezo Touchdown. The high-energy act was extremely engaging with the crowd as he threw T-shirts and a signed hat into the general admission pit.

Next, Vince Staples began performing on the venue’s B-stage. The “Norf Norf” singer brought immaculate energy to the room, as fans began to mosh.

Kali Uchis kicked off her set with a song that gained popularity on TikTok, titled “Dead to Me”. With high energy, breathtaking visual effects and choreographed dance routines, Uchis struck the crowd in awe. Her set came to an end with Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart-topper “telepatía”.

Tyler, the Creator

The crowd erupted in screams and began chanting Tyler’s name as the lights dimmed in anticipation. A short video played and the music to “SIR BAUDELAIRE” began as the rapper emerged from below the stage in a sky-blue Rolls Royce. Fireworks came from the top of the stage immediately as the set began.

Then, Tyler was escorted out of his car by his “driver” character, the one person who shared the stage with him during his entire set. During songs like “LEMONHEAD” and “HOT WIND BLOWS”, he explored the stage’s set, which was modeled after a bright-blue mansion.

In the middle of the show, Tyler moved to the B-stage in a hydraulic boat between the sides of the GA pit while performing his Grammy-nominated song “WUSYANAME”.

On the B-Stage, the design was minimalistic with dead grass patches covering the ground. Here, he rapped songs from his older albums, Flower Boy, Wolf and Goblin. The rapper played with the crowd to see which side could produce the loudest screams.

“Trash…. The Bucks got lucky,” Tyler joked at an unsatisfactory crowd reaction from stage left.

After performing a handful of fan favorites like “See You Again” and “Tamale”, Tyler took the hydraulic boat back through the crowd to the A-stage.

“Sorry, I needed to catch my breath give me, like, 10 more seconds,” Tyler panted once he dismounted the watercraft and found his footing on the main stage.

The climax of the show was “NEW MAGIC WAND” from his Grammy-winning album, IGOR. Tyler revealed that it was his favorite song before giving an over-the-top energetic rendition of the song, complete with pyrotechnics and intense lighting. Tyler commanded the stage with his captivating dance moves, unique flow and undeniable energy.

The ground shook from the song’s bass and the audience’s jumping. He ended the song on the ground after throwing himself around the stage. After a couple more songs, Tyler entered the doors to the set house. With that, the show came to an end.
