Today: Saturday begins with the occasional shower or rumbles of thunder around 5 a.m, before more showers and storms roll into the area around 3 p.m. and stay consistently into the night. Temperatures reach a high in the mid 70s, driven by warmer southerly winds at 10 mph and gusts that hit 20 mph at their strongest, occasionally driven by some thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Although nothing severe is expected today, make sure to be alert in case severe weather does occur, and always listen to your local weather forecaster for the most up to date information.

Tonight: Thunderstorms and rain continue throughout the night, driven by a low pressure system slowly meandering its way through the area. Temperatures overnight fall into the low 60s coupled with light winds off the lake at 5 mph with gusts topping out at 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Showers continue to plague the area on Sunday, but no severe weather is predicted throughout the day and into the night. Temperatures are a little cooler than the day before, with a high in the low 70s caused by heavy cloud cover, coupled with light winds out of the south at 10 mph as the center of the low pressure system comes right over top of us. Showers mostly die out after 9 p.m, leading to overcast skies and an overnight low in the high 50s. 

Monday, September 22nd – Wednesday, September 24th: Monday heats back up with a high temperature in the mid 70s, but still has gloomy overcast skies and the occasional pocket of rain, before turning to thunderstorms after 9 p.m. The light showers continue on Tuesday, but where there isn’t rain skies change to partly cloudy with a high in the low 70s. Wednesday continues the trend of cloudy skies, but chances for precipitation are very low. Temperatures begin to fall, with a high in the mid 60s, before falling all the way down into the upper 50s overnight.
