Today: Cold temperatures are expected across all over Milwaukee on Thursday, but the lack of strong winds throughout the day means that windchill will only have a minor effect. After a very cold morning in the lower teens, temperatures will hover in the lower 20s, coupled with partly sunny skies that quickly turn to overcast by noon. Winds will be blowing out of the west around 10 mph with gusts topping out at 15 mph, causing a windchill in the lower teens to single digits.
Tonight: Snow is expected Thursday night, beginning around 9 P.M. and continuing throughout the night. Total snowfall should reach around an inch and a half, though blustery winds out of the southwest can cause snow to obscure visibility. Temperatures should drop into the upper teens at their lowest, and nighttime winds should hit an average of 15 mph with 25 mph gusts.

Tomorrow: More snow is expected in Milwaukee on Friday, beginning in the morning before taking a break around midday and then picking back up again as night falls, totaling around an inch and a half. Temperatures float around freezing all day, but winds out of the west at 10 mph lowers the windchill to 20 degrees all day. Temperatures drop considerably on Friday night into the lower teens, with a few flurries popping up from time to time.
Saturday, January 17th – Monday, January 19th: Flurries continue to flow through Milwaukee on Saturday, but totals barely reach over a dusting. Temperatures stay consistent around 20 degrees but plunge into the single digits overnight, along with strong winds out of the west at 20 mph. Sunday tells a similar story, with cold temperatures in the upper teens that fall below 10 degrees overnight. Winds slow down from Saturday’s gusty winds to only 10 mph, coupled with a few flurries throughout the day. Monday stays very cold in the single digits, but has the advantage of mostly clear skies during the day.
