Today: After a wet and stormy Friday, we see more chances of rain return this afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center has us under a Marginal Risk for severe weather, with primary hazards being gusty winds and small hail. Make sure to stay weather aware if and when storms develop and move through the area. Other than the rain and possible storms, it is looking to be warmer, though cloudy. High temps are expected to reach the 80s after starting out in the upper 60s/lower 70s with the passage of the overnight storms. Winds are not looking to be too gusty, only topping out at 10 mph out of the southwest.
Tonight: As night arrives, a cold front will pass through the area where isolated chances of some rain is possible. Temperatures will drop into the mid to lower 60s as a high to our west moves into the region.

Tomorrow: High pressure will pass to our south, providing a sunny day for the metro! The morning will start off cool in the 60s before warming into the upper 70s by the afternoon. Winds should be calm out of the east which will help us from warming up too much due to the cooling effect of the lake air.
Extended Forecast: Monday we see the high start to move east, but we will stay under the influence of it for most of the day, so expect clearer conditions with temps getting into the lower 80s. Tuesday an area of low pressure will make its way into the region, bringing a chance of showers and storms with temps reaching the 80s. This will continue into Wednesday when the low passes. It is not clear on exact timing of when the low will pass as if it’s earlier, it will be cooler earlier. For now, going with a later passage of the low but keep up to date for if and when this become more clear. With this later passage of the low, temps will once again be in the 80s.
