Overview: Milwaukee’s 5-Day Weather Forecast July 6th, 2026, starts off with mild Wisconsin temperatures and sunny skies until midweek storms with a cooldown into a warmer weekend.

Today: Under a slight fog, the Monday morning commute should begin and end without any adverse weather. As the fog lifts, temperatures slink out of the 60s into the low-70s by lunchtime. Skies clear with the occasional evening cloud sent on the calming winds. Over the day, winds from the northeast go from 8 mph to 12 mph to calm in the night. Gusts stay below 20 mph.

Tonight: Without clouds and much of wind, a beautiful sunset graces Milwaukee at 8:33 p.m. Temperatures drop to 61 in the early morning of Tuesday, equal to the lake’s current temperature.

Tomorrow: As a low pressure builds to Milwaukee’s northwest, our high pressure lingers into Wednesday. This means beautiful fair-weather cumulus with the rare grayscale stratus and no rain. A bit higher than Monday, temperatures of 82 degrees find us with southeast winds of 6 mph and gusts around 14 mph. In the night, Milwaukee falls to 64 degrees with increasing winds from the south. Clouds do not leave the sky in anticipation of Wednesday’s low pressure.

Wednesday: With more intense winds averaging 12 mph, temperatures peak at 87. Entering from the northwest, clouds fill up the skies on Wednesday, eventually dropping some precipitation in the evening. These thunderstorms sweep through around 8 p.m. and last until 10 p.m., bringing gusty winds up to 28 mph and heavy rains. After the rain exits, temperatures sink to 68 and winds decrease.

Extended: Thursday cools to a high of 80 with a chance of precipitation in the afternoon and evening. Still influenced by the low pressure, mostly cloudy skies pair with 8 mph winds with gusts up to 25 mph. Temperatures return to the lower 60s in the night before Friday’s high in the upper 70s. Without any more rain into the weekend, Friday starts the weekend early with calmer winds and lessening gusts. Temperatures fall to 63 before the heat of the weekend. Stay up to date with your forecasts for specifics on the midweek storms and the hot weekend ahead.
