Today: Friday will be a very windy day, with an average wind speed around 25 mph with gusts that could top 55 mph at times. Rain persists during the morning, before switching to overcast skies with the occasional flurries for the remainder of the day. Temperatures will fall into the lower 30s, staying just above freezing until nightfall. 

Tonight:  After a brief period of partly cloudy skies in the early evening, more clouds move in around 9 p.m., along with the occasional flurries. Temperatures drop below freezing for an overnight low in the upper 20s, coupled with slower winds around 5 mph.

Tomorrow: There’s a 50% chance for mixed precipitation and freezing rain on Saturday, with areas around the lakeshore getting hit the worst. Temperatures hover around the mid 30s, coupled with wind speeds averaging around 10 mph with 15 mph gusts off the lake. More precipitation is expected on Saturday night, first beginning with snow and then turning to sleet and freezing rain around 10 p.m. Temperatures drop into the lower 30s, while winds flow off the lake at 15 mph. 

Sunday, March 15th – Tuesday, March 17th: Snow and freezing rain are expected on Sunday, beginning first with freezing rain at 7 a.m. before switching to sleet around 1 p.m. Freezing rain will accumulate close to a quarter inch in areas, along with additional sleet and snow accumulation. Temperatures will stay in the upper 20s with strong winds out of the north at 25 mph. Snow continues through Sunday night and throughout the day Monday, with Milwaukee receiving an extra 9 inches in areas. Temperatures will drop into the upper teens during the day, along with winds out of the northwest at 15 mph. Tuesday sees the return of sunny skies during the day, with temperatures that start off below zero before warming up into the high single digits.
