Today: A Blizzard Warning is issued for Monday until 4 p.m., canceling all in-person classes and events at UW-Milwaukee. As temperatures continue to drop from Sunday, the rain turns into sleet and snow, reducing visibility to a quarter mile. Wind speeds pick up, with gusts as strong as 37 mph. The morning low is 21 degrees, and temperature continue to range in the low 20s into the afternoon, barely breaching 23 degrees. The blizzard conditions affecting the morning are expected to continue throughout the afternoon as well. Severe winds up to 28 mph stay consistent, decreasing visibility due to the blowing snow.

Tonight: By the late afternoon and evening, things will begin to chill out (pun very much intended). The precipitation will die down, although some models suggest minuscule bands of snow persisting until nearly midnight. Temperatures in the mid- to high-10s are going to affect the area. This will create slick roads for the Milwaukee metropolitan area, so exercise extra caution when driving.

Tomorrow: An even chillier Tuesday follows, with morning temperatures of 15 affecting the Lake Michigan coastline with potentially colder temperatures further inland. Afternoon will provide partly cloudy skies and marginally warmer temperatures in the mid- to low-20s. Expect the clouds to return in the evening but temperatures to remain in the 20s range overnight, as a low-pressure system brings warmer air into the area.

Extended: There is a possibility of a light bout of rain on Wednesday morning affecting some of the area. Despite this, the rest of the day will be very agreeable. The high for the day will be 46 degrees with the low never dipping below 30. On Thursday, the clouds will part and give way to mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures. The high will be in the upper 40s, and the low will be 46. Though dropping to a low of 38 in the morning, Friday will be even warmer with a high of 55 degrees.
