Overview: Milwaukee temperatures skyrocket into the 60s over the weekend and 70s by Monday, only to meet some storms and high winds Tuesday, cooling down into the 40s.

Today: The 5-Day Weather Forecast March 28, 2026, starts by climbing out of freezing temperatures to be greeted by sunshine. Temperatures continue to increase into the high 40s by the afternoon with winds increasing as well. Despite being calm in the morning, winds average 14 mph with gusts up to 25 mph midday. These cool down in the evening as clouds begin to blanket the sky.

Tonight: Southwestern winds averaging 10 mph will be a frequent occurrence during the night while temperatures bottom out at 37. Overcast skies remain through Sunday evening into Monday.

Tomorrow: On Sunday, strong winds allow temperatures to rise into the mid-60s by the afternoon. Out of the southwest, these sustained winds of 15 mph could gust up to 30 mph. Scattered showers cannot be ruled out, but expect a mostly dry day. Overnight, clouds begin to break as temperatures sink to the high-30s preparing for a big jump Monday. Due to a low-pressure system sitting in the west and pulling warm southern air into Milwaukee, temperatures might prove higher than forecasted.

Extended: Due to this system, a partly cloudy Monday finds temperatures warming straight into Tuesday, hitting the mid-70s. This comes before the cold front arrives in the morning Tuesday, sending temperatures crashing down to the low-20s by Wednesday night. Winds from the southwest strengthen Monday and Tuesday, until early Tuesday sees winds from the northwest. As the system moves out, winds turn to the northeast causing frigid air to return and hindering Milwaukee’s spring. Along with this cold front, Monday night and Tuesday see the potential for thunderstorms, but mainly heavy rain is expected. Clouds possibly clear out Wednesday night, but the rest of the week seems ready for more active weather, so stay tuned!
