The South Milwaukee area may briefly reach the 50s-60s, while areas near the Illinois border hit the upper 60s to low 70s. However, if a warm front pushes slightly further north than forecast, Milwaukee could briefly touch 70°. Winds will determine temperatures, with inland areas most likely to see a warm-up. Light showers transition to a chance of evening storms, with a marginal severe risk in the areas with the warmest highs.

Tonight: Storms exit the region around sunset, with a short break in precipitation expected. Drizzle will begin around 10 p.m. Around midnight, rain will transition into sleet for a short time and then snow shortly after. Very little accumulation for most areas; however, areas with more intense bursts of snow may have a dusting on grassy surfaces. Lows in the upper 20s to around 30 degrees.

Monday: Snow showers ending around rush time Monday morning. Minor accumulations are possible on grassy surfaces in the heaviest snow bands. Winds steady out of the north-northwest at 5-15 mph. Highs in the low 40s.

Extended Forecast (Tuesday, April 1st – Thursday, April 3rd)

Tuesday will be chilly but mostly dry. Later at night, rain and maybe some snow will move in. Northern areas could get a little snow, while the south will see mostly rain. On Wednesday, warmer air might bring strong thunderstorms, especially in the south. Strong winds are possible too. By Wednesday night, the rain should stop, but it will stay windy into Thursday.
