Today: The 5-Day Weather Forecast March 7, 2026, starts with a high-pressure system’s influence from the southwest, pushing out Friday’s rain. Northwestern winds of 11 mph buffet the city with increasingly colder air, dropping temperatures into the 30s by nightfall. Persisting until the afternoon, clouds dissipate to reveal the starry sky by midnight.

Tonight: Despite being weaker than the day’s top gusts of 24 mph, winds turn to shove warmer air into Milwaukee. These warm winds begin around 10 p.m. but fail to warm Milwaukee noticeably. Temperatures sink into the low 30s for the night without many clouds reflecting the warmth back to us. As a reminder, tonight is also the beginning of daylight savings, so clocks jump ahead one hour.

Tomorrow: For most of Sunday, southwestern winds howl through the streets, averaging 15 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Some gusts could exceed this, aiding the rise of temperatures in hitting a high of 56. Clouds return in the late evening as rain in the north could send us some drizzles after midnight. Afterward temperatures attempt falling lower but only achieve the mid-40s for a low.

Monday: Beautiful weather starts the work week. Temperatures hit 68 with scattered clouds. Throughout the day, 15-mph winds with 30-mph gusts decrease, and by sunset they should average 8 mph. With a low-pressure system tracking east in southern Canada, Milwaukee sees a shift of winds to the northwest. To clarify, winds are defined by where they come from; for example, northwestern winds come from the northwest. These winds chill temperatures in Milwaukee to 36 before the night ends.

Extended: Beyond this point in the forecast, models either present a low pressure entering from the west or entering later from the southwest, resulting in starkly different forecasts. Here are the best estimations of current data. Tuesday sees temperatures rise into the low 60s and quickly retreat back to the 30s due to the passing of a cold front. Along with the low-pressure system comes the possibility of thunderstorms and isolated hail in the afternoon until midnight. This rain received could turn to ice as the winds continue to cool Milwaukee past 32 into the high 20s for a low Wednesday. Racing down the lakeshore, northern winds gust up to 35 mph. Clouds begin breaking into Wednesday night. Stay updated to know more about the mid-week happenings!
