Overview: Milwaukee’s 5-Day Weather Forecast May 26th, 2026, heats up to nearly 90 degrees today, followed by cooler temperatures in the later week.
Today: We wake up to warm temperatures in the upper 70s, which quickly rise into the high-80s by noon. Despite the low dewpoints, the UV index climbs up to an 8, so remember to put on your sunscreen and drink enough water. Speaking of water, without too many clouds and a fair breeze of 9 mph from the south, today would be perfect for the beach. However, Lake Michigan remains quite chilly at 50 degrees, so the inland lakes might be preferred. Wind gusts do not exceed 25 mph, calming down into the night.
Tonight: Clouds gather as the sun sets due to northern thunderstorms traveling south. As these clouds arrive around midnight, Milwaukee only sees overcast skies. Winds quickly change from the south to come from the north, increasing speeds up to 12 mph. Thanks to this breeze, we cool off to 56 for a low.
Tomorrow: Making a comeback from the night, Wednesday still finds the 70s, reaching a high of 72 at midday. Winds remain out of the northeast, intensifying later in the day to 15 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Breaking up over the day, cumulus clouds make way for a beautiful sunset at 8:20 p.m. Temperatures in the night fall to 50, not falling further thanks to the lake.
Thursday: Higher winds from the northeast batter the Milwaukee metro Thursday morning, hindering temperatures from reaching past 63. As this happens, a high-pressure system drops in from the north, decreasing any rain chances for the following days and providing blue skies on Thursday. Winds decrease in the evening to 5 mph in the night without wind gusts. Temperatures then return to the high-40s.
Extended: Without too many clouds on Friday or Saturday, Milwaukee ends its spring with well-deserved sunshine. Temperatures for Friday and Saturday hit 75 and 65, and they fall to lows of 55 and 52, respectively. All the while, winds remain near 6 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Stay tuned to keep up to date with the rain possibilities, though!
