Saturday

A weak Canadian trough slips through Wisconsin during the afternoon, bringing a deck of passing clouds but no precipitation. Temperatures will run mild again for late November, topping out around 50F. Winds turn southwest ahead of the front, then west/northwest by late day, generally 8-15 mph with a few gusts near 20 mph. It’s a quiet, uneventful day overall, clouds filtering in at times but still feeling slightly above normal.

Saturday Night

The weak front moves through and high pressure builds in behind it. Skies become partly cloudy to mostly clear, and temperatures drop into the upper 20s to near 30F inland, with the lakeshore a bit milder around 32-34F. A light northwest breeze around 5-10 mph will continue but won’t be too noticeable. Frost is likely in many spots.

Sunday

High pressure settles overhead, keeping things dry with a mix of sun and passing clouds. Temperatures remain mild for late November, reaching the low to mid-50s again. Winds turn west/northwest 8-15 mph, giving the day a fresher, drier feel compared to Saturday. No precipitation expected.

Sunday Night

Clouds increase from the southwest as the next system begins organizing over the Plains. Overnight temperatures dip into the low to mid-30s, with a calm to light southeast wind around 5 mph. It stays dry, but the thickening clouds signal what’s coming Monday night.

Monday

Most of Monday stays dry, but cloud cover steadily increases as moisture and warm advection ramp up ahead of an approaching disturbance. Highs climb into the mid 50s in Milwaukee. Winds turn southeast 10-15 mph, pulling in milder air. By late evening, rain becomes much more likely (about 80-90% chance), especially after 7-9 PM, as deeper moisture surges in from the south. Expect steady rain developing overnight.

Tuesday

Rain likely continues into the morning (especially before 10 AM) as the system pushes through. Light to moderate rainfall is expected, generally around 0.25″ maybe slightly more up to 0.50″ for the Milwaukee area. Winds shift northwest 10-20 mph behind the departing system. Highs land in the upper 40s to low 50s, but temperatures begin trending downward into the evening as colder air filters in. Skies gradually dry out through the afternoon.

Wednesday

The coldest air of the week begins to arrive. Highs only reach the upper 30s, with a brisk northwest wind 12-18 mph ushering in true November chill. The day looks dry with some sun mixed with clouds, but the cooler, polar airmass sets the stage for an even colder Thanksgiving.
