Saturday:

After Friday’s cold front, Saturday will be calm, dry, and comfortably cool, a picture perfect fall day for southeastern Wisconsin. Sunshine will dominate inland, though a light north-northeast breeze near Lake Michigan (10–15 mph) could keep things a few degrees cooler along the shore. Expect highs in the mid 60s inland and low 60s lakeside, with light west to northwest winds elsewhere. A few clouds may hang on near the lake early, but the afternoon will trend mostly sunny across the region.

Saturday Night:

High pressure settles overhead, bringing a clear and crisp night. Inland areas will cool quickly under the clear sky, dipping into the upper 40s, while the lake moderates temperatures by the lake a bit closer to low 50s. Winds ease to 5 mph or less from the northwest, making for a quiet and calm autumn night.

Sunday:

The weekend closes on a bright and mild note. Sunshine and light southerly breezes return as high pressure slides east, drawing in slightly warmer air. Highs reach the mid 60s, with winds picking up from the south-southwest at 10-15 mph by afternoon. It’ll be one of those days that still feels like early fall, crisp in the morning, warm in the sun, and perfect for being outdoors.

Sunday Night:

Clouds increase through the evening as a frontal system approaches from the west. Isolated showers could begin developing overnight, mainly after midnight, as warmer and more humid air moves in ahead of the front. Expect isolated on and off light to moderate rain at times with a few rumbles of thunder possible closer to daybreak Monday. Rain chances rise to around 20-40% for Milwaukee, especially between 1 AM and 7 AM. Winds stay from the south around 10 mph, keeping the night mild lows hover near 50F inland and low 50s lakeside

Monday:

A light shower or two continues early in the morning as the cold front passes through southern Wisconsin. Most of the steady rain should taper by late morning, leaving behind clouds and a few scattered sprinkles or light showers into midday. There’s a small chance of a few embedded thunderstorms early on, but severe weather is not expected. Skies gradually begin to clear from west to east by the afternoon.
Highs reach the mid to upper 60s, with west-northwest winds increasing to 15-20 mph and gusts near 25 mph behind the front. Cooler, drier air filters in through the afternoon, and by evening it will feel noticeably more like fall again.

Tuesday:

Cooler air filters in behind Monday’s front, giving us a more typical mid-October feel. Expect a mix of sun and passing clouds with highs in the low 60s, around 61F in Milwaukee and northwest winds of 10-15 mph. A few isolated sprinkles can’t be ruled out early, but most of the day stays dry and pleasant. By evening, skies clear and temperatures fall into the upper 40s inland and low 50s lakeside.

Wednesday:

High pressure builds back in, bringing a stretch of calm and comfortable weather. Sunshine returns with highs around 60F and light northwest winds around 5-10 mph. There is a slight chance of some showers Wednesday night but it is too far out to say what will accurately happen. Otherwise a classic early fall day, bright, dry, and cool in the shade rounding out the forecast period nicely.
