Today: Wednesday morning for Milwaukee starts off with thunderstorms and warm temperatures reaching to 73 degrees with wind speeds coming from the west at 12 mph and possible wind gusts at 22 mph. A cold front sweeps through the Northern Plains in the early morning then enters the eastern Great Lakes region by midmorning. Showers end by the afternoon, however. Overcast skies linger and temperatures reach a high of 82. As the temperatures increase, the wind speed decreases to 11 mph with 18-mph wind gusts.
Tonight: Into the evening hours, temperatures plummet to 65 with lingering clouds. With the temperature drop, wind speeds also drop to 6 mph with 14 mph wind gusts.
Tomorrow: Thursday morning brings cooler temperatures reaching to 63 degrees with clear skies and calmer wind speeds at 7 mph and wind gusts at 10 mph. As the day continues, clear skies remain. Temperatures reach a high of 73 degrees. By the evening, a high-pressure system makes its way through the Midwest, bringing calmer winds. With the calmer winds, temperatures drop to 64 degrees.
Friday: Friday morning starts with calm winds and clear skies with temperatures reaching into the mid-60s. As the day progresses, clear sunny skies remain with temperatures reaching a high of 75 degrees and wind speeds picking up to 8 mph with 15 mph wind gusts. By the evening, temperatures drop into the mid-60s with wind speeds also decreasing to 5 mph with 12 mph wind gusts.
Weekend Forecast: With the weekend finally here, Saturday brings a high of 80 and a low of 68. The morning brings calm winds and mostly cloudy skies with a cold front found making its way into Northeastern Wisconsin. However, by the afternoon and evening, partly cloudy skies remain and wind speeds start to pick up due to the advancing low pressure and cold front with an average speed of 14 mph and a maximum wind gust of 25 mph. Into Sunday, temperatures reach a high of 75 and a low of 65 with calm winds throughout the day.
