Today: A brisk fall morning dawns in Milwaukee, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 40’s. As the day goes on, the skies will clear up a little bit and the temperature will reach our daily high of 62 degrees.

Tonight: As the afternoon wanes, a cold front will move through the city bringing rain and a marginal risk for thunderstorms (according to the Storm Prediction Center). This cold snap will bring the temp to a humid 56 degrees, with wind gusts expected to get up to 16 miles an hour.

Tomorrow: Scattered showers will continue throughout Tuesday, starting in the early morning before the work rush. The morning high will be upper 40’s, and it wont get much higher than that due to the rain perpetually cooling things off throughout the day. This means the afternoon temps will merely be 48 degrees with mild winds and occasional rains. The possibility for thunderstorms on Tuesday is still marginal according to the SPC, although nothing severe is to be expected. The night will continue to look similar, with temps dropping to the lower 40’s and rain continuing.

Extended: The rain should dissipate by Wednesday morning as a high pressure front takes hold. The high on Wednesday will be 49 as we slip into the autumn chill, with a low of 45 and cloudy skies. Thursday will look similar, just a little sunnier. However, the high will remain in the upper forties with the low hanging at 42. Friday will be more of the same with a high of 53 and a low of 41.
