Today:

A much quieter and cooler day for the city. Sunshine dominates the skies, but a persistent northeast breeze at 10–15 mph off Lake Michigan will hold downtown Milwaukee’s high temperature to just around 50F. Inland neighborhoods, like Wauwatosa or West Allis, may sneak into the upper 50s, but it stays crisp near the lake. Expect the city to feel noticeably cooler right along the shoreline during the afternoon.

Tonight:

Skies stay clear, and with calm to light northeast winds under 5 mph, temperatures will dip into the upper 30s downtown, and a few cooler spots on the edges of the city could briefly touch the mid-30s. It’ll be a chilly but quiet night.

Tomorrow:

Milwaukee warms up nicely under partly sunny skies. Downtown temperatures will climb to around 60F, while inland neighborhoods may briefly reach 65F. Winds shift to the south at 10–15 mph, helping to push warmer air northward. A light lake breeze might cool the immediate shoreline later in the afternoon, but most of the city should enjoy a very comfortable, breezy spring day. Clouds gradually increase Sunday evening.

Monday, April 28:

Spring heat arrives! Downtown Milwaukee is expected to surge into the low 70s, while just a few miles inland, highs could reach 75–77F. Strong south winds at 15–20 mph, with gusts to 25 mph, will make it feel even warmer, especially away from the lake. Late in the evening into Monday night, showers and potentially strong to severe thunderstorms will move in as a cold front approaches. Milwaukee is under a risk for severe storms late Monday, with damaging winds or hail possible as the main threats.

Tuesday, April 29:

Morning showers or a lingering storm are possible early as the front moves through. Otherwise, the city cools off quickly. Temperatures may briefly rise into the low to mid 60s in the morning before falling through the afternoon. West to northwest winds at 10–15 mph usher in drier and cooler air. Skies begin clearing later in the day, setting up a much cooler evening.

Wednesday,:

A cooler, calmer spring day returns. Highs stay around mid to upper 40s downtown under partly to mostly sunny skies. Northwest winds around 10 mph will add a bit of a chill, but overall, it’s a quiet midweek day to wrap up April.
