Today, July 1: Happy July Panthers! Your Tuesday looks to be gorgeous, as any lingering storms from overnight will move out. In their wake, plenty of sunshine will be present, and temperatures will be pleasant. Gentle northwest winds will usher in slightly cooler temperatures and dampen the humidity a little bit. Temperatures will make it into the upper 70s near the lake, but will likely be in the low-to-mid-80s away from the lake. In the afternoon, the sun will stick around and lead to a great end of the day!
Tonight: Pleasant weather sticks around through the night. Temperatures will fall into the mid-60s, but could dip a little lower inland due to the lack of clouds. No precipitation is expected.
Wednesday, July 2: Wednesday looks to be another beautiful day as a weak high pressure system sticks around. Ample amounts of sunshine will allow the temperature to warm into the low 80s, and a light wind out of the west will also help keep temperatures up. In the evening and overnight hours, there is a slight chance of a thunderstorm as a little bit of instability comes through. Any storms that come through are not expected to be severe, and they are not expected to last very long.
Extended Forecast, Thursday, July 3 – Saturday, July 5: Thursday continues the trend of ample sunshine as that’s exactly what we’ll see. There is another slight chance for some afternoon thunderstorms, but nothing is expected to be severe. Temperatures will warm into the low 80s. Your Fourth of July looks to be about the same as Thursday; ample sunshine, a chance of afternoon storms, and temperatures in the low-to-mid 80s. Saturday looks to break the mold, with a chance of rain in the afternoon as our next major storm system looks to come through.
