Today, July 28: Your Monday starts off with a very slight chance of rain in the early hours of the day as a decaying cluster of rain and storms makes its way through. As the sun comes up, mostly clear skies and a gentle breeze allow morning temperatures to warm up into the mid-80s. Temperatures continue to rise into the low 90s by the afternoon. A heat advisory will stay in effect until 8 PM tonight, as high dew points will make the temperature feel like it’s in the mid-to-upper 90s. Make sure to take the proper precautions to stay safe in the heat. Limit time outside and stay in cool, air-conditioned places. Drink plenty of water and limit strenuous activities.

Tonight: Clouds become more prevalent as rain chances increase in the early hours of Tuesday. Temperatures will fall into the low 70s.

Tomorrow, July 29: Your Tuesday looks to start off stormy. The Storm Prediction Center has us under a marginal risk of severe storms as a result of the remnants of a system of storms left over from yesterday. However, there is a chance that nothing comes of this chance. Make sure to stay weather aware for your morning commute! The rest of the day looks partly to mostly cloudy, with a couple of sunny breaks possible in the afternoon. There is another small chance of rain in the afternoon, but there’s a lot of uncertainty surrounding whether it’ll happen based on current models. Temperatures for the day will warm into the low 80s, and the humidity will begin to break. Overnight, skies will stay mostly cloudy with lingering chances of rain throughout the night. Expect temperatures to fall into the upper 60s.

Thursday looks beautiful, with ample sun, comfortable dew points, and mild temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s. Friday looks like there’s a slight chance for a thunderstorm, but otherwise sunny and mild, with temperatures in the upper 60s.
