Father’s Day (Today):
Father’s Day begins overcast at a cool 62 degrees, but over the course of the day, clouds break up periodically to warm us to 75 inland and 66 lakeside. With light winds up to 10 mph, mainly hovering around a sustained 6 mph, Father’s Day should be dry the whole day, but light rain cannot be ruled out in the afternoon.
Tonight
As the sun falls, thicker clouds grow into the overnight hours with winds calming to end the day with temps falling near 62 degrees. A chance for rain follows later towards midnight, but it should pass without any precipitation in Milwaukee. Expect a cool 57 for a low.
Tomorrow:
Like Sunday, an overcast morning kicks off the work week, but clouds dissipate throughout the day. The increase of sun allows for a peak temperature of 78 inland and 70 lakeside with a more active wind of sustained 9 mph with gusts up to 15 mph. Rain is not anticipated, but in the evening and early night, it’s possible for a few drops of rain to tap the roof with a stray thunder. A possibly beautiful sunset with scattered clouds might grace Milwaukee before dropping the temperature to a mildly gusty 57 for the night.

6/17 Tuesday
Tuesday warms quickly as scattered clouds allow the sun to warm us all the way to 86 inland, mid 70s at the beach. A breeze of 10 mph will grace Milwaukee, with 22 mph gusts possible. In the afternoon, scattered clouds congregate quickly into rain showers which will inconsistently continue through the night. A low temperature at night of 68 will be the lingering effects of the balmy Tuesday.
6/18-19 Wednesday & Thursday
Tuesday’s warmth remains as storms pass through, allowing for a warmup to 77 degrees Wednesday. Storms are expected to harbor some thunder, but the outlook remains too challenging to predict as of right now, so please keep up to date with your local weather and NWS stations. Winds can peak at 23 mph gusts while a 9 mph wind drives the rain out over Lake Michigan. Thanks to the showers, we cool to 64 at night. Thursday finds the storm system leaving by the afternoon, and us warming to a comfortable 76 during the day. Winds remain a bit of an annoyance with gusts up to 24 mph, but average winds should stay below 10 mph. Skies clear Thursday night for a beautiful sunset and a low of 60 to end this forecast.
