Today: Southeast winds bring rain to Milwaukee today. The day begins with temperatures in the low 80’s, providing a warm sunny morning for the early birds who are up to witness it. However as the afternoon drags on, rain will hit the city. It will start patchy at first, but around 6pm it should start consistently raining for the rest of the night. As these patchy rains move across Milwaukee, temperatures will fluctuate between the upper 60s and low 80s. Expect mugginess throughout the day as these rains travel through.

Tonight: As the storm settles in and rain becomes more consistent, the temperature will stabilize in the low 70s. The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) assessed a risk for thunderstorms on Monday, and these will likely hit Milwaukee in the later hours of the evening. However, the thunderstorms should pass completely by midnight.

Tomorrow: Finally, Tuesday will bring a break from the rain. After the early morning storms dissipate, clear skies will prevail. Midday will heat up to the upper 70s, reaching our daytime high of 80. As the day goes on, sunny skies will continue until nightfall, and temperatures will drop to our night-time low of 68.

Extended: Expect ideal conditions as the holiday approaches! Wednesday will contain partly cloudy skies and a daytime high of 82 degrees, and as it cools off reaching the nighttime low of 71. Thursday will be a little cloudier, resulting in a daytime high of 75. Rain is to be expected in the afternoon, but nothing severe and all of it will dissipate by midnight. And finally what you’ve all been waiting for: clear and sunny conditions are to be expected on The Fourth of July! Stable conditions ensue as a high pressure system moves in, bringing warm clear weather. The holiday will have a daytime high of 82 with a low of 71.
