Today, May 12: Today will likely be the last day of this beautiful stretch that we’ve had. Ample sunshine will be present throughout the day as temperatures will make it into the low-to-mid-60s for a high temperature. Winds will remain light throughout the day, which could help in making it slightly warmer than the forecasted high. Clouds will begin to move back in during the afternoon, but skies should be partly sunny for the remainder of your Monday. There is a small chance of some showers during the afternoon, but they will be spotty and won’t amount to much more than a sprinkle.
Tonight: Clouds will become more prevalent overnight, making the skies mostly cloudy. The provided insolation will keep temperatures warmer, with lows in the low 50s. Rain isn’t expected once the sun goes down.
Tuesday, May 13: Your Tuesday looks to be mostly cloudy, with some breaks in the clouds to allow some sun to peak through. Temperatures will be in the mid-60s, and winds will stay light throughout the day. There is a better chance of some showers on Tuesday afternoon and early evening as a result of a weak low-pressure system moving to our south. Clouds remain into the night, keeping temperatures in the low 50s.
Extended Forecast, Wednesday, May 14 – Friday, May 16: Wednesday looks similar to Tuesday. Clouds will stick around for much of the day. This will likely keep temperatures cooler, unless there are some breaks in the clouds and sun comes through. Temperatures look to be in the mid-60s yet again. There is another slight chance of rain on Wednesday afternoon as that system to our south finally moves out to the east. Thursday could be our first active day in a while. A healthy mix of sun and clouds will allow temperatures to warm into the low 70s, as well as provide some energy ahead of a cold front accompanied by a low-pressure system that moves our way. There is a lot of uncertainty when it comes to the timing and track of the low, so make sure to check back in the coming days to stay up-to-date with how everything evolves. Friday looks relatively calm as temperatures will warm back into the low 70s, with another slight chance of rain in the afternoon.
