Today: Strong high pressure has pushed the reminiscence of the low pressure system which brought some rain to the area to the southeast of Milwaukee. With this High pressure system stationing it itself over northern Wisconsin on Wednesday mostly sunny skies will be in place. Despite bright skies, temperatures will only be able to rebound into the upper 50’s with a north wind of sustained speeds between 5-10 mph throughout the day.

Tonight: Clear skies will hold overnight as temperatures nose dive into the upper 40’s for a low with winds calming, but during more to the northeast overnight.

Tomorrow: Thursday looks like a fairly normal fall day over Southeast Wisconsin with temperatures rising through the 50’s during the morning but, winds abnormally will turn to the southeast but be very if any wind. By the afternoon winds will turn to more of a southerly direction and remain calm with sunny skies and high temperatures topping out around 60 degrees. Skies will start to become mostly cloudy Thursday evening and into the overnight hours in wake of a cold front off to the northwest which will move through Friday morning. Despite cloudy conditions taking hold low temperatures will be able to slip down in the low 50’s and may be some upper 40’s across the Milwaukee area.

Extended: Friday will be more of an overcast day with a small chance of rain showers in the morning (20% chance). This rain chance will be on the behalf of a very weak low pressure system trailing a cold front that will bisect Wisconsin from the northwest and spread southeastward towards the Milwaukee area. Due to the showers and overcast conditions high temperatures will only be able to reach the lower 60’s which is closer to average for this time of year. Winds on Friday will be out of the southwest 5-10 mph for most of the day, with higher gusts in the afternoon. By the evening and into the overnight hours of Friday winds will calm to around 5 mph and turn to the north once again from the passing cold front during the morning. Low temperatures should be able to dip down into the low 50’s and maybe upper 40’s with skies clearing across the Milwaukee area. Saturday will start out on a much different note from your Friday with mostly sunny skies which is due to a strong high pressure system which will move over northern Wisconsin Saturday mid morning and push the aforementioned low pressure system off to our east. Winds will keep calm and consistent from the north Saturday morning, however by the afternoon winds will increase to 10-15 mph and now from the northwest. Temperatures will remain consistent as well only making it into the lower 60’s for a high. By the evening and into the overnight, winds will calm back to around 5mph with clear skies and lows stalling in the lower 50’s. Sunday will see sunny skies sticking around for most of the day. Temperatures will rebound into the upper 60’s and maybe some locations even touch 70 degrees! Winds will turn to the southeast with sustained speeds between 5-10 mph over the course of the day however, by the late evening and overnight hours Sunday winds will turn to the south and calm to under 5 mph. Temperatures will look to slide down in the middle 50’s with skies becoming mostly cloudy. Looking ahead early next week looks to be a little unsettling with more rain chances, stay tuned.
